Gabriel Marinaro joins Smith Haughey

Attorney Gabriel Marinaro has joined Smith Haughey Rice and Roegge in the firm's Labor and Employment Group as a shareholder, practicing employee benefits and executive compensation.
Marinaro, who will work in the firm's Ann Arbor and Traverse City offices, advises publicly traded and privately held companies, tax-exempt organizations, governmental entities, and individual executives on employee benefits and executive compensation matters.
He is a frequent speaker on the Affordable Care Act and other developing areas; regularly advising clients on new regulations and other guidance.
Marinaro graduated with a B.S. from Eastern Michigan University, cum laude, and went on to earn his J.D. from Wayne State University.
Additionally, he received his LL.M. in Taxation and Certificate in Employee Benefits Law, with distinction, from the Georgetown University Law Center. He is licensed to practice law in Michigan and New York.
