The Women’s Bar Association (WBA), Oakland County region of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, hosted a Painting with a Twist event on Thursday, Feb. 5.  WBA members and friends enjoyed painting lessons and created a canvas to take home from Painting with a Twist in downtown Ferndale. Among the budding artists at the event were (seated, left to right) Mimi Kalish and Patty Stamler, along with (standing left to right) Christina Doyle, Ruth Goldner, WBA Immediate Past President Melissa Graves, WBA Treasurer Erin Klug, WBA President Ryan Kelly, and Kiana Franulic. “The Women’s Bar Association likes to plan social activities for our members to be able to network in a fun and engaging atmosphere,” Goldner said. “Painting with a Twist is an opportunity for people, who perhaps don’t have technical skill, to learn how to do a painting and we expect that everyone will have a great time.”
