NALS of Lansing to hold legal education seminar
NALS of Lansing will present a Winter Warm Up Legal Education Seminar 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Saturday, March 7, at the law offices of Foster Swift Collins & Smith, P.C.
Foster Swift attorneys Seth Drucker and Scott Mandel will present "Drafting Subpoenas" and "Expert Testimony," respectively.
The Corporate Law topic will be "Tax Exempt Status for Non-Profit Organizations," presented by Robert W. Stocker, II, of Dickinson Wright, PLLC.
The Criminal Law topic will be "Mental Health Courts," presented by the Hon. Thomas P. Boyd, 55th District Court, and Hon. James S. Jamo, 30th Circuit Court.
Kathie Amirante, PP, PLS, Past President of NALS, Inc., will present "Citations."
The cost is $35 for NALS members; $45 for non-members; $25 for students; and includes coffee and juice and a boxed lunch from Grand Traverse Pie Company. The cost for seminar only (no lunch) is $25.
