The 9th Annual Save Our Youth March to put an end to violence and to build bridges for a stronger community, took place Saturday, June 6 in Jackson. Marchers followed a route from the McCulloch Academy to the King Center, where there were children’s activities, speakers, and refreshments. Founded by Thomas Burke in 2004, Save Our Youth promotes educational, economical, mental, emotional, and fitness programs to transform the lives of youth and help them prosper.
