Building on the success of an earlier summer fund-raiser, The RESTORE Foundation returned to the musical airwaves again on August 17 with “An Evening with Amy Winehouse (sung by Rachel Stamler-Jonas) and Whitney Houston (sung by Rosemarie Wilson)” at Steven Lelli’s Inn on the Green in Farmington Hills. The show served as a fund-raiser for RESTORE, which provides financial support for the drug court program in Oakland County. It is teaming with the Alliance of Coalitions for Healthy Communities to promote prevention, recovery, and support programs for those dealing with substance abuse issues. Among those on hand for the August 17 event at Lelli’s were (l-r) singer Rachel Stamler-Jonas; Darlene Sosnick, a member of the host committee; and retired Oakland County Circuit Judge Edward Sosnick, president of The RESTORE Foundation.
