Center celebrates twenty-five years of resolution at anniversary ball

With Oakland Mediation Center’s twenty-fifth anniversary just around the corner, affiliates of the not-for-profit organization are delighted to celebrate twenty-five years of service in the community with the supporters, volunteers, and sponsors who have made it all possible.

“25 Years of Resolution” Masquerade Ball will be hosted by Oakland Mediation Center (OMC) on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Lafayette Grande located in Downtown Pontiac. Attire for the evening will be dressy with a mask, black tie will be optional.

The honorary chair for the Masquerade is Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson. Charlie Langton of FOX 2 Detroit has signed on for the event as master of ceremonies. Both community leaders exhibit the same values of peaceful resolution of conflict that OMC is committed to.

Set at the Lafayette Grande in Pontiac, the $100 ticket price will include cocktails, entertainment, dinner, dancing, and valet. Next Generation (30 years & under) ticket price is $75.

Since 1990, Oakland Mediation Center has been committed to the peaceful resolution of conflict and has mediated more than 47,342 cases aiding 100,934
individuals. Since the inception of its Youth Education program in 1999, OMC has empowered 102,790 youth to peacefully resolve conflict themselves.
