Seminar looks at 'Counseling Your Client Through Litigation'

The Oakland County Bar Association’s Circuit Court Committee will present a seminar on “Counseling Your Client Through Litigation” on Tuesday, October 13, from 9-11 a.m. at the Oakland County Bar Center, 1760 S. Telegraph Rd., Suite 100, in Bloomfield Hills.

Speaking at the program will be Jonathan B. Frank of Jackier Gould PC and John A. Hubbard of Hubbard, Snitchler, Parzianello, &?Flemming PLC.
Topics will include:

• Initial meeting.
• Explaining the process to that the client truly understands.
• Managing client expectations and defining success.
• Billing.
• Ongoing communication.
• Explaining ADR.
• Preparing the client to make tough decisions.
• Preparing for depositions.
• Preparing for mediation.
• Preparing for trial/arbitration.
• Post-trial issues.
