Oakland Mediation Center proudly celebrated Conflict Resolution Day in the state of Michigan on October 15. The joint efforts of several community dispute resolution centers led to the official signing of a proclamation by Michigan's Secretary of Senate Jeff Cobb. The proclamation was granted for promoting the availability of conflict resolution services throughout the state.
Conflict Resolution Day is a statewide collaborative endeavor to promote awareness of the conflict resolution processes, encourage communication, and identify the skills necessary for individuals and communities to peacefully resolve their differences.
