The Young Lawyers Section of the Ingham County Bar Association will hold a “Motion Call Wednesday-Criminal Docket” educational event 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, in Judge Canady’s Courtroom on the third floor, 313 W. Kalamazoo St., Lansing.
The event is open to all members of the legal community including young lawyers, experienced lawyers, law students, legal support staff, and aspiring legal support staff, both ICBA?members and non members.
Circuit Court Judge Hon. Clinton Canady III will be the hosting and participating judge, and the event will be at his morning criminal docket; this is an exceptional opportunity to view Judge Canady on the bench and get to know his judicial
philosophy regarding criminal matters.
Judge Canady is a former defense attorney who practiced with Stuart J. Dunnings, Jr. for 13 years at Dunnings and Canady before opening his own practice, Canady Law Offices, and operating such for 37 years before taking the bench in 2011.
There is no minimum knowledge or experience required to attend.
