Hall of Famer . . .

Former chief judge of the Macomb County Circuit Court, Tony Viviano (right) was inducted into the Heritage Hall of Fame November 19 during a special ceremony at Cobo Center in Detroit. Pictured with attorney Ed Haroutunian, who was inducted into the Heritage Hall of Fame in 2014, retired Judge Viviano was among five inductees at the celebration sponsored by the International Heritage Foundation, which assists organizations such as the International Institute of Metropolitan Detroit with immigrant services. The purpose of the Heritage Hall of Fame event is to recognize “exceptional leaders from various ethnic backgrounds who have made outstanding contributions to the American way of life,” according to a spokesman for the event.
