DETROIT (AP) — Members of the Devils Diciples motorcycle gang have been convicted in federal court in Detroit of racketeering conspiracy and other crimes.
The U.S. Attorney’s office in Detroit says Victor Castano of Warren, David Drozdowski of Fair Haven, and Michael Rich of Anniston, Alabama, were found guilty last week.
Castano and Rich also were convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice, while Castano and Drozdowski were found guilty of methamphetamine trafficking. Sentencings will be held later.
Authorities say the gang’s national headquarters is northeast of Detroit in Clinton Township. Chapters also are in Alabama, Arizona, California and other states.
Evidence showed members had police reports and other documents that were used to identify suspected gang informants.
Other members were convicted earlier this year of racketeering conspiracy and other charges.
