The Women’s Bar Association (WBA), Oakland County region of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, presented its 2015 Annual Holiday Party on Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Great Lakes Culinary Center in Southfield. Among those enjoying the event were (left to right) Tanya Lundberg of Collins, Einhorn, Farrell PC; Andrea Symbal of Hall, Render, Killian, Heath, & Lyman PLLC; Kristen Pursley of The Dobrusin Law Firm PC; Melissa Atherton of Rader, Fishman, & Grauer PLLC; Ryan Kelly of Kelly & Kelly PC;  Erin Klug of Dinsmore & Shohl LLP; and Samantha Orvis of Collins, Einhorn, Farrell PC.  Guests could take part in a hands-on cooking experience alongside professional chefs or simply enjoy appetizers and drinks while shopping at the silent auction.  Proceeds from the auction will be donated to Sweet Dreamzzz Inc. (www.sweetdreamzzz.org), a local non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to improving children’s health, well-being, and academic performance by providing sleep education and bedtime essentials to economically disadvantaged students and their families. Sweet Dreamzzz has several sleep programs designed for preschool through 5th grade children. Trained sleeper teachers educate children and parents on the benefits of healthy sleep habits, help them to establish a healthy bedtime routine, and provide them with bedtime essentials to sleep well.
