The Oakland County Bar Association’s Family Law Committee and Probate, Estate, &?Trust Committee presented “Bridging a Gap: The Intersection of Divorce and Probate Law” on Thursday, March 3, at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills.  Speaking at the seminar were (left to right) Sandra D. Glazier of Lipson, Neilson, Cole, Seltzer, &?Garin PC; and Anthea Papista of Papista &?Papista PLC.  The seminar was designed to help attorneys spot and address issues that may arise in the enforcement of rights and obligations post-mortem.  In addition, the seminar addressed capacity issues that may require special attention during proceedings and in relation to domestic relations matters.  “Anthea has the ‘during life’ and I have the ‘post-death,’ so we’re going to cover the gamut,” Glazier noted.
