DEARBORN (AP) - A number of district courts in Wayne County are part of a one-time amnesty program to settle delinquent cases.
The program started Monday and runs through April 29. It is designed to settle tickets and other court financial obligations while saving people money. Backlogs of old court files also would be cleared.
Eligibility will vary by court.
District courts in Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Inkster, Allen Park, Lincoln Park, Wyandotte, Southgate, Wayne and Harper Woods and Grosse Pointe Park Municipal Court are taking part in the program.
