Bruce Van Eyck, Executive Director of the Jackson Big Brothers Big Sisters organization for six years, was guest speaker at the April 19 NALS of Jackson County meeting. A former superintendent of East Jackson Schools, Van Eyck is pictured with NALS member Pam Maynard who has been a “Big Sister” for 15 years, for three girls. Jackson BBBS started in 1967 and pairs an average of 250 matches a year. Jackson County Prosecutor Jerry Jarzynka, a former Big Brother, is vice president of the board.
