The Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA), in partnership with Oakland County Youth Assistance, will host a free Legal Aid Clinic on Monday, Oct. 3, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Southfield Public Library. Reservations are not necessary but are appreciated.
During this free clinic, attorneys and legal aid providers will be on site to provide basic legal information and brief advice and counsel in the areas of Juvenile, Family, Probate, Criminal, General Civil, Bankruptcy and Landlord/Tenant Law. Community members with legal questions are urged to attend this clinic to speak with an attorney volunteer or legal aid representatives from Legal Aid and Defender Association or the Family Law Assistance Project.
For additional information or to register for the Legal Aid Clinic, contact Merri Lee Jones at the OCBA at 248-334-3400. The Southfield Public Library is located at 26300 Evergreen Road in Southfield. This event is sponsored through the generous support of the Oakland County Bar Foundation, a 501 (c)3 not-for-profit charitable organization serving the legal needs of Oakland County citizens.
