DETROIT (AP) - A 49-year-old man has been arraigned on a terrorism-related charge after threats to police and Chief James Craig were spray painted on a Detroit building.
The Wayne County prosecutor's office says Stuart Lewis of Detroit appeared Tuesday in 36th District Court on a threat of terrorism charge which carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison upon conviction.
The threats were painted last week on the west side commercial building.
Lewis also is charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and malicious destruction of a building.
He faces a Nov. 1 probable cause conference and a Nov. 7 preliminary examination.
