Price Heneveld announces addition of two senior attorneys



Price Heneveld LLP, a Grand Rapids boutique intellectual property (IP) law firm, announces the addition of Senior Patent Counsel Phoebe P. Bower and Senior Patent Counsel Ginta D. McNally.

Phoebe Bower has experience in all areas of IP procurement, counseling, enforcement and licensing.  She focuses her practice on patent matters, including drafting and prosecuting utility patent applications, preparing advisory and clearance opinions, and managing patent portfolios. She has worked in the computer, electrical and mechanical areas involving a wide range of technologies.

Bower previously practiced in the Chicago office of a national IP firm as well as for a small patent boutique. Before practicing law, Bower was a Network Engineer for Sprint Corp. where she designed wide area network infrastructures and consulted on data networking.

In addition to prosecution and counseling experience, Brower has been active in all aspects of litigation and at trial, including pre-filing inquiries and appeals.

Ginta McNally is a registered patent attorney with a wide range of IP experience.  She has represented Fortune 100 Companies, large privately held companies, small businesses, and individuals and has extensive experience in patent, trademark, trade dress, and unfair competition litigation in automotive, consumer product, apparel, plastics, Internet domain name, and other areas.  She is also experienced in trademark prosecution, IP licensing, and business tort litigation.

During engineering studies, McNally spent summers working at auto companies as an engineering intern.  In law school, she worked at insurance and IP?law firms.

McNally has served on the Executive Council of the State Bar Young Lawyers’ Section. She speaks Latvian fluently and is involved in the West Michigan Latvian
community.
