Christopher D. Haboian has joined the Southfield office of Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C. as an associate in the firm’s real estate practice group. Jaffe CEO William Sider made the announcement.
Haboian will concentrate his practice in the areas of commercial, industrial, retail and residential real estate to private and institutional developers, builders, management companies, real estate brokers and individuals.
Prior to joining Jaffe, Haboian served as associate corporate counsel for The Cordish Companies in Baltimore. He worked on the leasing and development of casinos, hotels, shopping centers and sports-anchored projects with partners including the St. Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers and Comcast Spectacor. Haboian also worked on corporate structuring, project financing, and in-house needs like trademarks and compliance.
Haboian graduated from Wake Forest University in North Carolina, and studied abroad at Temple University in Tokyo, Japan. He earned his juris doctor from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law in Baltimore, where he served as Moot Court Board Member and President of the Entertainment & Sports Law Society.
