The Oakland County Combat Veterans Court held a graduation ceremony Wednesday, April 12, at the County Courthouse in Pontiac. Oakland County Circuit Court Chief Judge Nanci Grant presided over the ceremony, which featured the graduation of Anthony Schmidt. The Combat Veterans Treatment Court assists eligible United States military veterans in meeting the terms and conditions of their probation by providing judicial oversight, case management team assistance, mentoring, mental health and substance abuse treatment, as well as readjustment counseling.
