Matthew J. Heos has joined the Nichols Law Firm in East Lansing, and focuses on personal injury, criminal law, and medical marijuana.
A native of the Lansing/East Lansing area, Heos is a graduate of East Lansing High School, Michigan State University, and WMU-Cooley Law School.
Super Lawyer’s Magazine named him as a Rising Star for state, local and municipal law from 2014 – 2017 for his work on county drain projects and related litigation.
When the Michigan legislature enacted the Michigan Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act, Heos expanded to include licensing matters relative to the Act.
Heos is a member of the Ingham County Bar Association, as well as the Environmental Law, Negligence Law, and Marihuana Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan. He is admitted to practice in all Michigan courts at the state and federal levels, and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.
