The Oakland County Bar Association’s Debtor/Creditor Committee will present “Bankruptcy Exemptions: Tips, Tools and Trends” on Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the OCBA offices, 1760 South Telegraph Road, Suite 100, in Bloomfield Hills. This seminar will address the challenges exemptions pose in bankruptcy proceedings.
New attorneys and experienced practitioners will benefit from this panel discussion of the current problems and challenges facing parties to exemption issues. The panelists will share their advice on tricky issues, hot topics, and the future of exemptions. Topics of discussion will include:
• The nature of exemptions in bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy proceedings.
Cost for the seminar for those who pre-register is $40 for OCBA members; $30 for OCBA new lawyers (p75866+), paralegals, and students; and $60 for all non-members. Cost at the Door is $60 for OCBA members; $50 for OCBA new lawyers (p75866+), paralegals, and students; and $90 for all non-members.
