Law school marks Constitution Day

Acting U.S. Attorney Daniel L. Lemisch (left), Eastern District of Michigan, delivered a lecture titled “The U.S. Constitution: A Prosecutor’s Perspective” at his alma mater in honor of Constitution Day on Monday, Sept. 18, at the University of Detroit Mercy Law. Lemisch is an adjunct professor at Detroit Mercy Law, teaching a course on evidence. Lemisch was welcomed by Detroit Mercy Law Dean Phyllis L. Crocker (center) and J. Richard Broughton (right), associate dean of Academic Affairs. Lemisch formerly served as chief of the Criminal Division, deputy chief of the Controlled Substance Unit, and—prior to joining the Justice Department—as chief of appeals at the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office.
