Women's Bar prepares home

The Women’s Bar Association (WBA), Oakland County region of Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, took part in a day of service with Humble Design on Friday, Oct. 20, sponsored by The Dobrusin Law Firm. Humble Design is a local non-profit organization that furnishes homes with donated goods for families coming out of homeless and abuse shelters.  Volunteers gathered at the Humble Design warehouse in Pontiac to load all of the decorative items into vehicles before heading over to a family’s home for cleaning, organizing, and decorating. Lending a hand that day were (left to right) Lydia Jakubowski, WBA President Erin Klug, Keturah Tolburt, Michelle Shember, WBA Recording Secretary Katherine Pacynski, Bryan Lemanski, WBA President Elect Tanya Lundberg, Tracy Clark, and Daniela Walters. “We really like doing this event, giving back to the community, and helping out a family,” Lundberg noted.
