The speakers were Director of Police and Fire Services Elmer Hitt; Fred Goff, Compassionate Ministries; Barbra Shelton, St. John’s United Church for Caring; Hakim Crampton, A.M.E.N. for Youth; Rev. James Hines, Lily Baptist Church; Rev. Darius Williams, Second Missionary Baptist Church; Jackson County Commissioner Daniel Mahoney; Rev. John Clemons, Lane Memorial C.M.E. Church; and keynote speaker Mayor Bill Jors. Lee Hampton, Executive Director of Multicultural Affairs at Jackson College, led the Benedictine.
