Bowling challenge raises funds for Hope Against Trafficking

The Oakland County Bar Association’s Annual Bowling Challenge pitted the New Lawyers Committee (NLC) against the Board of Directors on Thursday, March 8. After a 4 year drought, the Board won the trophy over the NLC but both teams had a good time while raising funds for Hope Against Trafficking. Each year the NLC chooses a charity to advocate for and to whom it dedicates the proceeds of its fund-raising efforts. Enjoying a charitable evening of competition at Escape in Troy were (kneeling, left to right) Sylvia Mansoor, Jennifer Lord, Victoria King, Melinda Deel, and Melissa Zebrowski and Tammie Passant from Hope Against Trafficking; along with (standing, left to right) OCBA President Gerald Gleeson, Jennifer Roosenberg, Sarah Kuchon, Katherine Rohr, Jonathan Martone, James Parks, Oakland County 52-4 District Court Judge Maureen McGinnis, Dean Googasian, Matthew Wood, Ryan Plecha, Daniel Quick, David Anderson, Zackery Hugg, Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Leo Bowman, Kevin Kleinstiver, Jamie Martone, Jeff Kaplan, and Dan Lowe.
