In Command

Bush to head multi-national forces in Iraq (2007-08) and later was commander in chief of U.S. Central Command and commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan. A frequent commentator on global security and economic issues, Petraeus is a graduate with distinction from the U.S. Military Academy, and holds a Ph.D. from Princeton University.
