Information Technology Law Section to conduct annual meeting Sept. 6

The Information Technology Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan will conduct its annual meeting and seminar on Thursday, Sept. 6, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Inn at St. John’s, 44045 Five Mile Rd. in Plymouth.

Attendees will learn the latest scoop on privacy developments, look at the cloud from both sides now; explore the known and unknowns of blockchain and how it may change the world; and dive into contract clauses and how they may produce unintended consequences. Mark G. Malven, of Dykema, will moderate the seminar.

The annual Information Technology Law Section and Council meetings will be held during the luncheon, and will include election of 2018-2019 council members and section officers.

The cost for the seminar, which includes a light breakfast, lunch, and a complimentary networking cocktail reception, is $75 for IT Law Section members; $125 for non-members;
