Civil rights, religious land use focus of FBA program

Federal Bar Association’s Civil Rights Committee will present a program on Civil Rights and the Religious Land Use and the Institutionalized Persons Act on Tuesday, Oct. 30, from  noon to 2 p.m. in the Detroit Room of the Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse, 231 West Lafayette in Detroit.

U.S. District Court Judge Stephen J. Murphy, Eastern District of Michigan, will be one of the panelists and U.S. Attorney Matthew Schneider will be the moderator.

Lunch will be sponsored by the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, the Federal Bar Association (National) Civil Rights Law Section, and the Anti-Defamation League.
