On October 18, the State of Michigan approved a license for the first Oakland County Medical Marihuana facility. The Greenhouse of Walled Lake (www.greenhousemi.com), was approved for a provisioning center unanimously by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
"This is a milestone victory for our client," said Michelle R. E. Donovan, a shareholder in Butzel Long's Bloomfield Hills office who was responsible for all aspects of the licensing application. "The Greenhouse of Walled Lake can now move forward with its plan to open early in 2019."
