Brinks Gilson & Lione, one of the nation's largest intellectual property law firms, recently received its 15th consecutive Chambers USA ranking for IP, including patent, trade secret, and copyright, among others.
New this year, the firm’s Ann Arbor office and its managing shareholder, Steven Oberholtzer, were ranked in Michigan.
In Utah, Chambers again recognized Ryan Marshall, managing shareholder of Brinks’ Salt Lake City office. Chambers also honored four Chicago attorneys: Gary Ropski, Jerome Gilson, Laura Beth Miller, and William Frankel.
Chambers evaluation focused on qualities such as technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, and commercial astuteness. Rankings of individual shareholders were based on legal knowledge, effectiveness, and client service.
