The 6th Annual Art Fish Fun Festival will be held on Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Beaudette Park located at 786 Orchard Lake Road in Pontiac, Michigan. This free public event provides art and environmental educational activities for the entire family.
In recognition of River Day, the Art Fish Fun Festival was established to bring attention to the importance of preserving our environment. Free 2019 River Day T-Shirts will be given to the first 100 guests entering the park. A special one-hour cleanup will begin at 11 a.m. Volunteers will be provided with bags, gloves, and trash pickers.
A free lunch consisting of BBQ ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, beverages, ice cream, and other items will be offered.
Scheduled activities include Fishing with Commissioner Jim Nash, the Native Plant Display, the Mini Festival, the Dirt Doctors, the Kids' Workshop, Carnival Games, Paint with a Fish, Frame Decorating, Community Drum Circle, and more.
The Art Fish Fun Festival is a collaborative community partnership consisting of private, public, and non-profit stakeholders.
