Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner Jim Nash will host a series of year-long Water Infrastructure 101- “What You Need to Know Below and Beyond” discussions. The infrastructure discussion in collaboration with the Hazel Park District Library will take place Thursday, July 11, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The discussion will focus on “What You Need to Know About Your Drinking Water” at the Hazel Park District Public Library, 123 East Nine Mile Road in Hazel Park.
The public will have the opportunity to ask a variety of questions ranging from aging infrastructure, water quality, to stormwater and lakes. Home infrastructure tips, water resource infrastructure project updates, along with employment opportunities, and the Water Residential Assistance Program (WRAP) are some of the topics that will be shared. There will be a question and answer session for the public. Public feedback is sought at these discussions.
