On Monday, July 15, a “Clean Water Town Hall Meeting” was hosted by Michigan State Senator Rosemary Bayer (far right) at Groves High School in Beverly Hills. Among those speaking on the panel were Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel (far left), Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha (third from left), and Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner Jim Nash (second from right), along with representatives from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (formerly MDEQ), and Clean Water Action. “Clean water is a major concern for everyone,” noted Bayer, who represents the 12th Senate District?. “I actually think Michigan can become a leader in managing through these (clean water) issues.”
