Oakland County Clerk/Register to deliver services to Commerce and West Bloomfield

Oakland County Clerk/Register of Deeds Lisa Brown will bring the services of her office to Commerce Township and West Bloomfield Township, through the popular Local Office Visit (LOV) program. A wide range of services will be available on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the following locations.

—West Bloomfield Township Clerk’s Office, 4550 Walnut Lake Rd, West Bloomfield, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

—Richardson Community Senior Center, 1485 Oakley Park, Commerce Township, from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

“Good government requires accessibility, that’s why we bring our services to different communities,” said Clerk Brown. “Next month, we’ll be traveling to Rochester and Holly.”

The following records and services are available at all Local Office Visits:

• Free Veterans ID Cards

• Copies of birth, death and marriage certificates

• Copies of deeds, mortgages, liens and other property documents

• Obtain or file a military discharge record

• Copies of Oakland County Circuit Court documents, including divorce records

• Concealed pistol license applications and renewals

• Business registration or renewals, as well as access to Oakland County’s Assumed Business Names and Co-Partnerships database• Marriage license applications

• Notary public applications

• Free copies of the Oakland County Directory
