As part of its efforts to foster diversity in the bankruptcy bench and bar, the Judicial Conference of the United States Committee on the Administration of the Bankruptcy System presented “Roadways to the Federal Bench: Who, Me? A Bankruptcy Judge?” on Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse in Detroit.
In an effort to improve diversity in the bankruptcy bench and bar and the federal bench in general, the Judicial Conference of the U.S. Committee on the Administration of the Bankruptcy System hosted this simultaneous, nationwide event occurring live in 19 cities. An hour of “roundtable” discussions followed, where Eastern District of Michigan federal judges talked about their roadways and answered questions at a table. Every fifteen minutes, the judges moved to another table.
