Negligence Law Section to explore court rule changes at seminar

The State Bar of Michigan Negligence Law Section is hosting a seminar on court rule changes on Monday, Nov­. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Michigan State University Management Education Center, 811 W. Square Lake Rd. in Troy.

Speakers include members of the Negligence Section Council, Michigan Supreme Court Justice Megan Cava­nagh, Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Elizabeth Gleicher, and Kent County Circuit Court Judge Christopher Yates.

The cost to attend is $200 for members, $300 for non-members (includes membership in Negligence Law Section), $95 for new lawyers (in practice less than five years, includes membership in Negligence Law Section), and $300 for others. Judges and judicial staff may attend at no cost with registration.
