The State Bar of Michigan Negligence Law Section is hosting a seminar on court rule changes on Monday, Nov. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Michigan State University Management Education Center, 811 W. Square Lake Rd. in Troy.
Speakers include members of the Negligence Section Council, Michigan Supreme Court Justice Megan Cavanagh, Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Elizabeth Gleicher, and Kent County Circuit Court Judge Christopher Yates.
The cost to attend is $200 for members, $300 for non-members (includes membership in Negligence Law Section), $95 for new lawyers (in practice less than five years, includes membership in Negligence Law Section), and $300 for others. Judges and judicial staff may attend at no cost with registration.
