The Center for Family Health has received two certifications for meeting high standards of medical care.
The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) last month renewed the Center's status as a Patient-Centered Medical Home, a model of primary care that puts patients first in measures of access, teamwork, and technology.
Also last month, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) awarded CFH a certificate for meeting federal standards for patient care that is coordinated and comprehensive. HRSA conducted a site visit and inspection to reach that determination.
NCQA is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of American health care. HRSA is a branch of the federal government within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
