'Brownfield Incentives' seminar offered by OCBA, March 4

The Oakland County Bar Association will present “Brownfield Incentives: An Overview for Legal Practitioners” on Wednesday, March 4, from noon to 1 p.m. at the OCBA offices, 1760 South Telegraph Road, Suite 100, in Bloomfield Hills.

This seminar will provide important information for attorneys representing clients who want to take advantage of the local and statewide economic development resources at their disposal.

The speakers will examine the environmental, financial, tax, community and regulatory factors that impact brownfield redevelopment. They will also explore the tax and funding opportunities that exist for communities and developers seeking to revitalize underutilized buildings and land.

Speaking at the seminar will be Marko Belej of Jaffe, Raitt, Heuer, & Weiss PC; Bradley J. Hansen of Oakland County Economic Development & Community Affairs; Eric P. Helzer of Advanced Redevelopment Solutions; and moderator Nicholas G. Maloof of Associated Environmental Services LLC.

Lunch will be provided by  Dawda, Mann, Mulcahy, & Sadler PLC and Dykema Gossett PLLC.
