Firm celebrates Black History

Bodman PLC celebrated Black History Month this year with a series of vignettes on twelve historic African Americans in its internal newsletter and a traveling exhibit from the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History that is currently on display in the firm’s Detroit office at Ford Field. The exhibit, “Postmarked: African American Stamp on History,” includes a retrospective on prominent African Americans who have been featured on United States postage stamps. On February 27, Bodman hosted Reggie Woolery, director of Education for the Charles H. Wright Museum, for a presentation on the traveling exhibit and the many contributions the persons featured on the stamps have made to the sciences, the arts, politics, and many other fields. Enjoying the exhibit were (left to right), Bodman Chair Carrie Leahy, Reggie Woolery, and Bodman Diversity and Inclusion Co-Chairs Damali A. Sahu and Kathleen O’Callaghan Hickey.
