Several probate attorneys, who are trained as mediators, have volunteered to serve as mediators on contested petitions filed in Probate during the COVID19 Court closure. Contested petitions filed during the closure may be referred by the judge to a mediator who will attempt to resolve the issues in the motion.
There is no cost for the first full hour spent in mediation; mediators will choose whether to volunteer additional time if issues cannot be resolved in one hour.
