The Oakland County Legal News, which has published five days a week since Sept. 2008, will become a once weekly publication on a temporary basis beginning today, May 12.
The announcement was made this week by Legal News Publisher Ban Ibrahim, who indicated that the change is a result of the COVID-19 outbreak that has dramatically impacted the volume of public notices that the newspaper publishes.
Ibrahim said that The Oakland County Legal News will resume its normal daily printing schedule once various moratoriums have been lifted by the state and federal governments. It is unclear, she said, when those restrictions will be rolled back.
