The Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan (CDAM) will present the webinar “Michigan Law Update: Roadside Drug Testing – What You Need to Know” featuring Michigan trial lawyer Patrick T. Barone on Tuesday, August 25, from 11 a.m. to noon.
In this one hour zoom presentation, Barone will dissect recent changes to MCL 257.62a, 257.625r, and 257.625s, all of which address roadside DUI investigations. These laws address Michigan’s roadside oral fluid drug testing program. Participants will learn when this increasingly common roadside drug testing is allowed and how to avoid common pitfalls in the defense of DUI drug cases involving such tests.
Cost for the webinar is $25. To register, visit cdam.wildapricot.org and click on “events.”
