Livonia, MI – The 104-year old Citizens Research Council of Michigan announced the 2020 Virtual Public Policy Event to be held 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 22.
Former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan, Barbara L. McQuade will share her perspective on how police reforms in Detroit addressed issues still confronting other major cities.
There will also be a panel discussion on “Public Health in Michigan during COVID-19,” moderated by Citizens Research Council health policy research associate Timothy Michling.
Panelists will include: Marianne Udow-Phillips, Center for Health and Research Transformation; Phyllis Meadows, Senior Fellow in the Health Program at The Kresge Foundation; and Representative Hank Vaupel, chair of the House Health Policy Committee of the Michigan House of Representatives.
