Federal Bar to present Criminal Law Seminar: 'Seditious Conspiracy'

The Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, will present a Criminal Law Seminar: “Seditious Conspiracy” online via Zoom on Thursday, February 18, from noon to 1 p.m.

The FBA Criminal Law Committee will host a panel discussion with experts involved in United States v. Stone, also known as the Hutaree case. Moderating and sitting on the panel will by U.S. District Court Judge Victoria Roberts. Other panelists include: Barbara McQuade, former U.S. attorney, currently a law professor at the University of Michigan; Judge Jonathan Tukel, former AUSA, chief of National Security Unit and current Michigan Court of Appeals judge; Criminal defense attorneys William Swor and James Thomas; and Richard Helfrick, deputy defendant, Federal Community Defender’s Office.
