The Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, will present "Introduction to Federal Court Criminal Practice" online via Zoom on Friday, February 26, from noon to 1:15 p.m.
The FBA Criminal Practice Committee is hosting a lunch and learn seminar with experts in the field of criminal law. Panelists will include U.S. District Court Judge Sean Cox, Eastern District of Michigan; Assistant U.S. Attorney Jules DePorre; Assistant U.S. Attorney Barbara Lanning; Assistant Defender James Gerometta; criminal defense attorney Alan Crawford; General Motors Chief Compliance Office Michael Ortwein; Marina Pino, term clerk to U.S. District Court Judge Gershwin Drain, Eastern District of Michigan; and moderator Rebecca Zarras, 3L at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
