'Evidence Boot Camp C: Skills Training' offered by OCBA, CDAM

The Oakland County Bar Association and the Criminal Defense Association of Michigan will present “Evidence Boot Camp C: Skills Training” online as a Zoom event on Thursday and Friday, February 25-26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.

This hands-on training is designed for court-appointed counsel with less than two years of criminal defense experience. This training fulfills eight hours of the mandatory 16 hours of skills training for these attorneys. No one-day registrations are allowed.

Speaking at the training will be Steve Fenner and James Piazza.

Registrants must bring a copy of State or Federal Rules of Evidence. Attendees do not have to take prior Boot Camps to attend this Boot Camp.  Class size is restricted to sixteen.

Cost for the training is $240. As of January 1, anyone who attends CDAM Skills Training or Evidence Boot Camp will have to provide a deposit fee of $100. Once the registrant checks in for the training, a credit card refund will be issued. Registrants must cancel their registration no later than five days before the event.
