The Oakland County Bar Association's Veterans Law and Diversity & Inclusion Committees will present "Veterans Benefits: Serving Those Who Have Served For Us" as an online webinar on Tuesday, April 6, from 4 to 5 p.m.

This seminar will provide an overview of important resources and benefits available to veterans. Topics will include:

The Veterans Law Committee of the OCBA is devoted to supporting nonprofits in the area that serve active and retired veterans. As part of this program, the committee is asking for donations to support the 501(c)3 organization, Vets Returning Home (VRH). This is an optional donation available with registration.

Vets Returning Home (VRH) is a nonprofit and non government-funded organization dedicated to helping our veterans transition into stable lives. VRH is more than a shelter. VRH provides employment readiness training, aid in job placement, disability benefit coordination, legal support, and life skills training, along with an alcohol-free and safe living environment. More than 1,400 veterans have made transition through VRH in its six years of operation.

Cost for the online program is $25 for OCBA members; $15 for OCBA Professional Development Committee members; $15 for OCBA new lawyers, paralegals, and students; and $35 for non-members,
