The American Bar Association will present a webinar on “Protecting the Design Professional: Exploring Recent Construction Law Issues Impacting Risk-Shifting for Design Professionals” on Tuesday, July 20, beginning at 1 p.m.
This 90-minute webinar will focus on recent trends and changes in construction law that impact the risk shifting strategies for design professionals on construction and design projects.
The program speakers are three of the co-authors of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law’s recently published book “Design Professional’s Guide to Construction Law.”
This webinar will focus on: the design professional’s legal responsibilities in the construction and completion phases of a project; risk-shifting on design build projects; and the design professional’s risk in the areas of indemnification and professional liability insurance, as explored in the new Design Professional Guide.
