Foster named to Michigan 2021 ‘Go To’ Lawyers

Warner Norcross + Judd LLP partner Rachel J. Foster has been named one of Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s 2021 Michigan Go To Lawyers in real estate and condominium law.

Foster works in Warner’s Kalamazoo office and concentrates her practice in real estate transactions, including construction contracts, condominiums and foreclosures, low-income housing tax credits, real estate acquisitions and sales as well as financing and refinancing projects. She also advises numerous organizations across a variety of industries, including the nonprofit sector.

She serves as co-chair of the State Bar of Michigan’s Commercial Development, Ownership and Finance Committee and Real Property Law Section.

 

Attorney co-authors  book on how to handle a divorce case in Michigan
 

Local attorney Elizabeth Bransdorfer has co-authored the book “Handling a Divorce Case in Michigan,” a ste-by-step guide published by The Institute of Continuing Legal Education.

The book focuses on practical matters of procedure, strategy, organization, and timing  and includes information about Collaborative Practice and limited scope representation, which is increasing in popularity as a way for individuals of modest means to secure legal help with parts of their cases, while handling other parts themselves. 

Bransdorfer practices in litigation and alternative dispute resolution, with a practice emphasis on domestic relations.

She is also trained in family law Collaborative Practice.
